Museum Lumina
The Museum Lumina project was developed to enhance and renew the artistic lighting within the Archaeological Museum of Hisarya. By introducing specialized illumination, the exhibit transforms into a visual narrative where light itself becomes a storytelling tool.
The moveable cultural heritage on display is now showcased through carefully designed lighting installations — including light panels, sculpted ceilings, and ambient effects — all tailored to meet museum conservation standards. This ensures that the artifacts are both protected and highlighted in a way that allows them to “speak” more clearly to the visitor.
The lighting concept turns the exhibition into a theatrical “black box” space, where the spotlight falls on the artifact as the central character in a shared drama. The result is an emotionally resonant, immersive environment that enhances the visitor experience.
Museum Lumina doesn’t just illuminate objects — it illuminates meaning. By reshaping the way cultural artifacts are presented, the project creates a new cultural expression in its own right.
